Connie Thompson

Connie Thompson, age 62 of High Point, NC entered into the eternal peace with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Hospice Home at High Point.

Connie was born April 18, 1954 to the late Earl Frank Thompson Sr. and Mary Jane Brown Thompson in Dillon, SC.

Connie relocated to High Point, NC and was employed with Cone Mills for over 19 years.  Her last employment was with Superior Seating for 15 years.  Connie was a person of fun and enjoyment. Her love and caring spirit would brighten your day.  She enjoyed her yearly vacation at the beach with her friends.  They called themselves “the beach bunnies.”  Connie was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and Kitchen Committee.

In addition to her parents, Connie was also preceded in death by her brother, Earl Frank Thompson Jr.; her sister, Francis L. Thompson; one nephew, Tadarius Thompson Jr.

Connie leaves precious memories to her sister, Vivian (Thomas) Taylor of High Point, NC; brother, James W. (Charlene) Brown of Wisconsin and Henry B. Thompson of the home; Amanda and Antonio who call her moma; a special friend and mom-like parent, Carrie Wright;  a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, although not named you were very special to Connie.
