Christopher "Pop" Whitfield

Christopher Leon Whitfield, age 47, passed away peacefully on Friday January 10th, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center-High Point.

He was born, February 16, 1972 in High Point, NC to William Whitfield and Nellie Jean Johnson Whitfield.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father, William Whitfield; his maternal grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Warren and his nephew, Jimmy Dale Hardy Jr.

Surviving to cherish his memories include: his mother, Nellie Jean Whitfield; sisters, Telisa (Jimmy) Hardy and Angela Whitfield; special friend, Catina Dixon; grandfather, Charlie Warren Sr.; three nieces, Jemiya Hardy, Jennifer Hardy and Brooke Whitfield; aunts, Barbara Lindsay, Mary Avent and Willie Mae Gordon; uncles, Charles Warren and Duck Monroe Boatwright; great nieces, Kenya, Malia, Imani and one great nephew, Jaxon; special cousins, Donald Lindsay, Forrest Quick and James Quick; close friend, Rodney Miller; a host of other family and friends; although not named you are special.
