Charlie B Wilson, 66, of High Point, NC, departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 10,2013, at Hospice Home at High Point. He was born on October 20, 1946, to Charlie "Took" Wilson and Lucinda Cobbs Wilson.

"Charlie B," as he was affectionately called was educated in Dillon County public schools. He was united in marriage to the former Ellander "Ella" Bethea Wilson. After relocating to High Point, he became employed with Highland Yarns, although he received a limited education, Charlie B proceeded to become a successful business owner of a prominent landscaping company.

Charlie B was a dedicated husband, loving father, a hard worker and a fun spirited person who was loved by many.

The loved ones he rejoins that preceded him in death include his wife of 32 years, Ella Bethea Wilson, his parents, a daughter, Tashia Watts, a grandson, Omar Watts, four brothers, Willie Cobbs, John H. Wilson, Luther Wilson and James Wilson, brother-in-law, Samuel Bethea and a special friend, James Billings.

he leaves to cherish his memories, three sons, Vashon D. Wilson, Montegues O. Wilson and Minister Lavorice (Kimberly) Smith, one daughter, Kimmy D. (Ernest) Perry, four brothers, Tobert (Evangelist Louise) Wilson, Vernon Wilson, Edward (Evangelist Cynthia) Wilson and Clyde Wilson, all of High Point, NC, six sisters, Annie R. (Pete) Carmichael, Joyce (Pastor James) Casey, Elizabeth (Calvin) Bryant, Patricia (Jerry) Malloy all of High Point, NC, Polly F. Wilson of Black Mountain, NC and Carol (Jackie Lee) Alford of Marion, SC, a special and devoted friend, Norma "Joyce" Mitchell, her children and grandchildren, 7 grandchildren, Niya, Scotte, Terrani, Nicholas, Shabria, Chelsey and Xavier, great grandchildren, brothers-in-laws, Ervin (Judy) Bethea, Franklin (Gerline) Bethea, Ronald Bethea, Rodney Bethea, Martin (Shelia) Bethea, Robert Bethea and Spencer (Tammie) Fulwood, sisters-in-laws, Betty Douglas and Mary (Jak) Lewis, special niece and nephew, Shaterika and Clydarris both of the home, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends, although not named you were very special to him.
