He was a Korean War Navy Veteran and proud of it.  Charlie was the business owner of Oakwood Memorial Park Cemetery and Piedmont Memorial Park.  He is survived by longtime wife, Michele Dye; son, Chase Dye and daughter, Chelsea Dye that all reside at the residence. Also surviving are son, Clay Dye Jr. and his fiance’ Leigh Buie; followed by daughter, Donna Simpson and husband, Bob Simpson, two grandchildren, Bobby Simpson, wife Cassie Simpson and Heather Simpson; great-grandson, Cole; two sisters, Wilma Holt and longtime husband Ernest Holt and Marie Giofridda.
