Catherine Woods

A Celebation of Life for Mrs. Catherine Wright Woods “Cathy” Catherine Wright Woods, age 59, departed this earthy lifeon Friday, January 16, 2-15 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. She was born July 7, 1955 in Hampton County, SC to Mr. Timothy and Mrs. Mae Bell Kearse Wright on July 12, 1955. She was educated in the Guilford County School Systems. She was a member St. Philip A.M.E. Zion Church for many years. During her illness, Cathy re-dedicated her life back to Christ. Later in life she met her husband, Richard Woods Sr. To this union two children were born, Christopher Wright and Richard Woods. Jr. Cathy was a homemaker for her family. She was a loving and caring person. She loved her family very much. During her illness she never complained. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband, brother and grandparents. Cathy leave to cherish her memories to her mother, Mae Bell Wright; two sons, Christopher(Michelle) Wright of Greensboro, NC and Richard Woods Jr.; two sisters, Juanita Wright of Greensboro, NC, and Lila Womack of High Point, NC; grandchildren, Alex, Brejana, Nancy, Zavell, Jarma, Kenya, Richard, Takorian, Timothy and Treasure all of Greensboro, NC; aunts, Dollie Williams, Lucinda Platts, Carolyn, Linda, Minnie Williams, Brenda Goodwater, and Lena Lee Brunson; uncle, Henry(Patricia) Williams; a dear cousin, Sharon Foster; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
