Betty Robinson

Mrs. Betty York Robinson, 89, of High Point, NC peacefully departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at her home. She was born on July 6, 1936, to the late Edmond York Sr. and Beatrice Hudley York. Betty attended school in Marlboro County, SC, she transitioned to High Point, NC and was employed at Braxton Culler prior to her retirement, she was a member of Williams Memorial CME Church.

In addition to her parents Betty was also preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Ann Ali, and granddaughter, Shatina Rivers, three brothers, Edmond York Jr., Robert York and Richard York, two sisters, Helen Harrington and Flora Mae York Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Calvin L. York (Juanita), Gregory York (Juanita), granddaughter, LeKisa R. York, one sister, Edith York, three brothers, Deacon Ezzard York (Aline), Kenny York all of McColl, SC and Tracy York (Letha) of Hamlet, NC, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
