Betty Mclean

Betty Ann Marley McLean, age 65, of High Point departed this earthly life on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at High Point Regional Hospital. She was born January 22, 1950 to James Marley Sr. and Louise Copeland Marley. A resident of High Point all of her life Betty was employed as manager at the Innkeeper Hotel. She later worked as a nurse with Advance Home Care until her health declined. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Thurmond Marley and James Leon Marley Jr.; one sister, Cora Lee Marley Leonard. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, two sons, Christopher McLean and Jeremiah McLean both of the home; two daughters, Martha Robinson of High Point and Jeanie Herbin of Greensboro; a special niece, Charlotte Bethea; grandchildren, Rahim and TaCiana Robinson; sister-in-law, Lizzie Marley; great nieces, Lavonda Ledwell, Jasmine McCombs, Mahongany Mitchell, Mercedes Bethea; special friends, Ashley Powell, Diane Alston, Milton Steed and Hattie Bowers; a host of other relatives and friends.
