Benjamin` Thomas

Benjamin Thomas, age 75, passed on July 17, 2020.  Benjamin was a dedicated and supportive husband, dad, brother, and friend. Son of the late William Thomas and Susie Brown-Thomas, he was born March 17, 1945 in Albany, GA.  His family later relocated to North Carolina when he was a young boy, he grew up with his mother’s wishes instilled in his heart, which was always to remain close to his family.

He worked and retired as a driver for the City of High Point. He loved to sing and play multiple instruments.  He was part of the gospel singing group Tones of Zion. Benjamin also enjoyed fishing and sharing time with his loved ones.

Benjamin is survived by his wife of 50 years, Queenie Thomas; sons, Benjamin Thomas Jr., Tyrone Daniels, Daniel Thomas, Jonathan Thomas, Anthony Thomas, and Brandon Thomas; daughters, Shannon Booth, Vicky Thomas, Sherrie Thomas, Danielle Thomas, Ashley Thomas, and Brandy Thomas; brothers, Willie Thomas , William Thomas and James Thomas; sister, Betty Thomas McDuffie; grandchildren and great grandchildren and many other loved ones.
