Mr. Ben "Lil-Bud" Jackson, age 83 passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2014. He was born November 24, 1930 in Cheraw, SC, the son of the late Willie Jackson and Nora Bennett.
Ben cared deeply for his family and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved sisters, Naomi Simmons and Cynthia Henderson and one great niece, Latoya Simmons.
He leaves fond and cherished memories to his wife of 55 years, Annie Pearl Jackson; two step-children, Marie (Johnny) Crawford and Danny (Pam)Thompson; his nieces and nephews, Sondra (Scottie) Bailey, Leroy (Denise) Simmons, Ben (Tiffany) Simmons, Annie "Wendy" Simmons, Susan (Johnny) Campbell, Jack Johnson Jr., and Steven Johnson; special cousin, John William Bennett, his special friend, James Autry; other extended family members and friends.
