Annie Sapp

Mrs. Annie Simmons Sapp, 75 passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013.  She was born March 4, 1938 in Guilford County, NC the daughter of the late Alex  Simmons and Lousie Davis Simmons.
She was married to Wiliam Sapp until his passing.  Annie was employed with Florence Elementary School for many years as a teacher.  After retirement in 1999, Annie, known as "Gam-maw" devoted to herself to her family and especially delighted in her grandchildren accomplishments. She was a member of Foster Grove Baptist Church.  Annie had a passion for jeopardy, wheel of fortune, and puzzles.
Preceded her in death includes, her husband, parents; two brothers, Leroy Simons and Howard Simmons.
She leaves precious memories to her son, Stephfone (Jackie) Sapp of High Point, NC and her daughter, April Sapp of High Point, NC; twelve granchildren, Devonte, Nisheika, Iyana, Keshon, Zion, Kierra, Ken, Dashondra, Mya, Brandon, Alana and Saniah; a host nieces and nephews.
