Anna Louise Williams, born on May 5, 1940, to Tom and Amelia Howze, peacefully departed from this world on the early morning of Thursday, December 28, 2023. Recognized as a beloved member of the community, Louise was a source of joy, always adorned with a smile and known for her affectionate responses such as “Love you more” when told she was loved.
Louise was a proud and nurturing individual, often regarded as a mother-figure and friend by many. She was an active member of Righteous In Christ Ministries, Inc. under the leadership of Pastor Rhoda Brevard until her passing. Her unwavering faith in the Lord was evident through her testimonies, and she illuminated the lives of those around her with her shining light.
Preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Amelia Howze, her husband Arthur Williams, three brothers, Willie Jay Hall, Roosevelt Howze, and Henry Howze, three sisters, Iola Smarr, Ella McCray, and Shirley Wilson, and one grandson, Michael Sean Williams II.
Louise leaves behind a legacy cherished by many, including nine children: Robert Leon (Colleen) Patterson of High Point, NC, Kenneth Glen (Kimiki) Williams of Virginia Beach, VA, Cory Deon Williams of Burlington, NC, and Michael Shawn Williams of Newton, NC, Amy Jean Parker of Shelby, NC, Angela Louise (Jeffrey) Wright of Clemmons, NC, Sharon Denise (Patrick) Thomas of Trinity, NC, Audrey Lavern Williams of Thomasville, NC, and adopted daughter Zerita Fontain (Calvin) Basey of High Point, NC, She is also survived by one sister, Janie Patterson of Waco, NC, along with 22 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
