Alonzo Marshall

Mr. Alonzo Nelson Marshall departed this earthly life on Friday, August 26, 2022, at the Hospice of Davidson County in Lexington, North Carolina. He was born to the late Floyd Marshall, Sr., and Virginia Pratt Marshall on February 25, 1951, in High Point, North Carolina. He attended Guilford County schools. Mr. Alonzo relocated to California and later returned to North Carolina in 1993. He was very active in the lives of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Alonzo was also preceded in death by two daughters, Angel Marshall and Starvina Quick; great-grandson, Demetrius III; two brothers, Terry Marshall, and Ronnie Marshall; grandparents, Weaver and Lossie Little Pratt and Roosevelt and Willie Mae Marshall; niece, Natasha Crawford; great-niece, T’Angela Patterson; and aunt, May Odessa Marshall McNair. He leaves to cherish his memories: his two daughters, Tammy (Dwight) Talbert of Lexington, NC, and Tina (Jeremy) Hoskins of Thomasville NC; two sons, Lamont Quick of Winston-Salem, NC, and David Marshall; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Marshall Crawford of High Point, NC; two brothers, Floyd (Marie) Marshall, Jr., of Las Vegas, NV, and Donnie Marshall of High Point, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will truly be missed.
