Allen "Paul" Dow

Mr. Allen “Paul” Dow, 63 passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at High Point Regional UNC Health Care. He was born on March 14, 1953, in Pinewood, SC, to the late Andrew Dow and Marie Mahoney Dow.


He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, David Dow, Albert Dow, Sarah Smith and Maggie Warley.
Paul was a member of Another Chance Gospel. He retired from Tarheel Paving Company. He enjoyed his grandchildren and spending time with them.


Those left to cherish his memories include: his wife, Ruth Allen Dow; daughter, Sebrina (Howard) Mason of Asheboro, NC; son, Tony (Tina) Allen of High Point, NC; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Leola Dingle, Rosa (Rosevelt) Nelson, Lucretia Steele, Rev. Wilhelmena (John) Bosier, and Margie Williams; two brothers, Melvin Dow and Sammie (Grendolyn) Dow; one uncle, Johnny (Emma Jean) Mahoney; sisters-in-law, Linda (Minister Robert) Harris, Sandra (Bishop Fletcher) Little, and Minister Sherril Covington; brother-in-law, Thomas (Janice) Allen; a special friend, James Ezekiel; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
