Alice Smith

Alice Mae Smith, also known as “Donna” 72 departed this earthly life on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital. She was born in Bennettsville, SC to the late Willie and Nealie Whitfield Pearson.

She attended Marlboro County Schools. Alice was a caregiver to many for years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. William Ester Smith; five brothers, Ulcess, Willie James, James Willie, Walter and Bobby Pearson; one sister, Jackie Pearson; two in-laws, Frank Bristow and Emma Pearson

She leaves her legacy of love to be cherished by three daughters Tammy Pearson, Tameka (Mooni) Martin and Wanda Pearson all of High Point; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren; four brothers, Frank (Mary) Pearson, Earl (Peggy) Pearson, David Pearson and Theodore Pearson all of High Point; five sisters, Lula Bristow, Magelene Pearson, Martha Pearson Mary (Douglas) Smith all of High Point and Joyce Fair of Pine Hurst; a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friends that loved her dearly.
