Alashia Ervin-Bethea

Alashia L. Ervin-Bethea, 20 years old, departed this life on Sunday, June 10,
2018 in Southeast Washington, DC.  She was born in High Point on January 4,
1998.After school in Thomasville, she moved to Washington, DC.  Alashia loved
styling hair and designing her hew own clothes.  She was a sweet-spirited person
and will be missed by her family.
Those left to cherish her memories include: her father, Pernell (Malisha)
Bethea of High Point; mother, Genova Ervin-Bethea (AJ Sawy) of Montgomery, AL;
one brother, Amar Ervin-Bethea of Alabama; grandparents, Pophine (Brok) Hart of
Thomasville, June (Iris) Durham of High Point; paternal grandparents, Melanie
Bethea of High Point; great grandparents, Amell Ervin of Winston Salem; a host
of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The funeral service for Alashia will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at
1:00pm, at God’s United House of Grace and Mercy, 1309 Leonard Ave.  Visitation
will begin at 12:30pm at the church. Burial will be in Guil-Rand Memorial Park.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at People’s
Funeral Chapel.
